ATTEMPT TO IDENTIFY & LOCATE: CHECK FRAUD SUSPECT

2015-06-01_123847

On SATURDAY, APRIL 23, 2015 at 13:24, the woman pictured above attempted to cash a stolen check using a stolen driver’s license at the HARBOR ONE CREDIT UNION drive through, located at 607 PLEASANT ST, ATTLEBORO MA. The suspect used the drive through lane located the furthest away from the teller window (Felony Lane), although closer lanes were available at the time. She was operating a NEWER MODEL WHITE 4-DOOR SEDAN with unknown plates, suspected to be a rental.

The suspect was using a check that had been stolen in a MV BURGLARY in STONEHAM MA, and a stolen driver’s license from a MV BURGLARY in BRIDGEWATER MA. She is described as a WHITE FEMALE, probably wearing a wig, with an “orange looking tan”. This suspect has been involved in numerous similar “Felony Lane” incidents in which checks and ID’s stolen from multiple car breaks. The suspects then write the stolen checks out in a second victim’s name for which they have stolen the ID as well, they then attempt to cash those checks at bank drive thru’s.

Of note is that the suspect does change hair and cars, but appears to wear the same black and gray striped sweater when cashing the checks. There are several pictures in the attached flier of the suspect at numerous Massachusetts jurisdictions attempting to cash stolen checks.

Det. MacNeil of the ATTLEBORO PD is attempting to identify and locate the pictured suspect.

Any jurisdiction with similar incidents/suspects, is asked to contact:
